Dr Sam Prince

Founder

Dr Sam Prince is an award winning humanitarian, philanthropist, entrepreneur and doctor. With a passion for Mexican cuisine, Sam founded Mejico in 2013, and promised to deliver innovative and modern Mexican fare in Sydney. To learn more click here

Karen Westfield

Chief Operations Officer

Karen is Méjico’s COO; a 15 year hospo-veteran, Karen moved down under from London over 10 years ago. Now firmly entrenched in Newtown with no intention of returning to the UK, she is able to combine her love of food and live music, sometimes even at the same time!

Favourite dish at Mejico: Sticky lamb ribs, no contest, oh wait maybe the pork tacos…

Richard Prout

Food & Beverage Operations Manager

An aficionado on Sydney’s dining, Richard has nearly 20 years in the biz. Arriving from the UK 6 years ago, he has developed a passion for food, drink & making people laugh.

Tequila Masterclass

Fun fact: Mejico is Australia’s biggest tequila bar (that’s us!) and the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere. For any occasion a Tequila Masterclass will be sure to excite guests.

THE BLANCO 65pp - Our original 1 hour Masterclass, our Tequilier will engage and guide you through the history, process and flavours of this complex and iconic Mexican spirit. Includes 5-6 tequila tastings and 2 traditional Mexican chasers of sangrita and verdita.

THE REPOSADO 95pp - This is ‘The Blanco’ + a selection of small plates and a Margarita on arrival.

THE GRAN AÑEJO 165pp - Not for the faint hearted, this is ‘The Reposado’ + “Feed Me’ Menu + La Paloma drinks package.
